Since January, when I "retired", I am a full time fabric artist/quilter. I hope to prove it in the future with winning quilts and books.

It is so wonderful so far. I still don't like cutting things out, though.

BJ, If I am in my sewing room I am on and off all day long. Since I now only work parttime, I expect that might be even more often. I think I am going to start thinking of quilting as my other work. I like having work to do and does not imply drudgery for me. I guess it implies purpose. What's too much? I don't know.

Another comment is that I have so much knowledge it is because quilting is my life don't ask me to change.

I love TQS, the banter on the Forum, instant worldwide expertise, constistent inspiration and new techniques. I'm sure it will be responsible for increasing my life span because my "to do" list gets longer everyday. I am going to have to live a very long time to get it all done.
