I took a course with Debbie Kemball last year and she unabashedly, and confidently said, looking straight into my eyes "I am a full-time quilter!" So there. That's her perspective and she has the proof of it with her winning quilts and books. I guess it can be whatever we want it to be.
Since January, when I "retired", I am a full time fabric artist/quilter. I hope to prove it in the future with winning quilts and books. :D :D :D It is so wonderful so far. I still don't like cutting things out, though.

OK, I'm as big a fan as possible. I wonder sometimes if I am not on the website more than anyone else. I use it for little breaks and really enjoy all my friends. I'm sure I am on here way too much, but I'm my own boss now. :D

BJ, If I am in my sewing room I am on and off all day long. Since I now only work parttime, I expect that might be even more often. I think I am going to start thinking of quilting as my other work. I like having work to do and does not imply drudgery for me. I guess it implies purpose. What's too much? I don't know.

Crocus999, Its in my head all the time too.

I look in the morning,
I look in the evening,
I look before I go to bed,
I've always got TQS in my head!

Love it! Love all the new-found friends. The shows, the lessons. Corny jokes too.

My day also begins with TQS I am always asked how I remember the names of celebrity quilters, when I have watched their video so many times of course I remember names. Another comment is that I have so much knowledge it is because quilting is my life don't ask me to change.

I am on it morning, noon, night and in-between, as you can tell from my postings. I love TQS, the banter on the Forum, instant worldwide expertise, constistent inspiration and new techniques. I'm sure it will be responsible for increasing my life span because my "to do" list gets longer everyday. I am going to have to live a very long time to get it all done.
